Deepening faith through Scripture

English page 🇬🇧

Welcome to my website. On this website I hope to encourage my brothers and sisters.

My journey with God began on June 13, 2013, when I was baptized in the Jordan River, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. It was a moment of surrender and a new start.

One year later I shared my testimony in the mountains of Scotland with hundreds of men. After that I was invited to speak in many places. God used these years to teach me, shape me, and guide me. I still remember the verse a brother gave me Ezra 7:10 a call to set my heart on God's Word. That verse led me deeper into Bible study and a stronger walk of faith.

I am thankful for every brother and sister the Father placed on my path, and for every opportunity to speak, encourage, and share the hope we have in Christ.

Now, after many messages, many sermons, and years of serving, a new chapter begins for me: a time of quietness, prayer, study, and humble devotion. A season to wait on God, to seek His will, and to hold fast to His promises and His covenant.

I walk forward with hope looking for the return of God's Son and the coming Kingdom on earth.

Back to the Centre | Simple Biblical Faith

The Bible begins with a clear truth: God, the one Father, created the heavens and the earth. He is the source of all things, and His purpose runs like a straight line through Scripture from the first promises in Genesis, through the covenant with Abraham and the lasting promise to David, to the coming of Jesus, the promised Messiah in whom these hopes find their fulfillment.

Jesus was born of Mary by the power of God. He was fully human, our brother, yet begotten by God and therefore the Son of God. In His words and actions He revealed the Father. He lived in complete dependence on God and always spoke of Him as the Only One: "The Father is greater than I."

Yet Jesus was one with His Father in purpose and obedience. He proclaimed the coming Kingdom of God, carried our sins, and was raised from the dead by God. In this way God exalted Him and made Him Lord and Christ the future King who will return to establish God's Kingdom on the earth, just as He promised to Abraham and confirmed in the promise to David that his Son would sit on his throne forever.

Throughout history, the Holy Spirit has been God's power at work: in creation, in the prophets, in the ministry of Jesus, and in the preaching of the apostles. That same power works today when the Word touches our hearts and renews our lives.

The gospel is simple and strong: Jesus lives. He will return. God's Kingdom is coming. And we are invited to share in that purpose through faith, repentance, and baptism, and by walking in hope and trust.

Glory to God, the one Creator,

and to Jesus Christ, His Son and our coming King.

A Strong Foundation: From Faith to Connection and Good Works

When we think about the heart of our faith, an important question follows: How do we truly live out what we believe? Many believers long to move away from rigid traditions or fixed systems, and instead live from God's Word with both heart and life rooted in what is true. For this, our faith needs a foundation that is steady and strong. Scripture gives us this clarity:

"Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus Himself as the cornerstone."

(Ephesians 2:20)

This verse speaks of a foundation where the witness of the prophets and apostles comes together, with Jesus as the cornerstone. What matters most is that the voice of Christ stands at the centre. Jesus is the Messiah sent by God our teacher and our example. His words are our light; His life is our pattern.

Not every word from the past must automatically be a binding rule for us. If a statement from a prophet or apostle appears only once and does not match the lasting message of justice, mercy, and truth that Jesus taught, then we are not bound to it in the same way. Our final authority is the teaching of Jesus Himself the true cornerstone.

Connected to the True Vine

Jesus said:

"I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener."

(John 15:1)

This picture is powerful. Christ is the source of our spiritual life; the Father is the One who cares for, shapes, and purifies the vine. We, the believers, are the branches called to remain connected to Christ. Without Him, there is no fruit and no true spiritual growth.

This connection is not a feeling or a vague idea. It is practical and real. Jesus teaches that those who remain in Him will bear fruit. This fruit becomes visible in character, behaviour, and relationships.

The Fruit of Discipleship

Discipleship becomes real in daily life:

Character: love, humility, faithfulness

Behaviour: following Jesus, prayer, studying Scripture, sharing the gospel

Relationships: care, forgiveness, service

Justice and Good Works:

Faith without action is empty. James says:

"So faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead."

(James 2:17)

In Jewish thought this has long been understood as tsedakah righteousness that becomes visible through good works: praying, fasting, giving. Our calling as believers is to take part in God's purpose in this world. We do not do this to earn salvation, but to reflect God's character.

Jesus confirmed these practices and gave them direction. In Matthew 6 He teaches us how to pray, how to fast, and how to give not to be seen by others, but to be faithful to the Father in secret. We follow Jesus in these concrete acts of righteousness.

Conclusion: A Living Foundation

Our foundation is not a closed system of doctrines, but a living and relational foundation: the witness of the apostles and prophets, with Jesus as the living cornerstone. From this foundation we grow as branches on the vine in connection, fruitfulness, and truth.

True faith is not only words or feelings. It is expressed in acts of love, prayer, righteousness, and goodness. By remaining in Christ and following His example, we become branches that bear fruit not for ourselves, but for the glory of God, the Father of all.
